JEN (XIAO SHI) CHEN

Jen is a licensed lawyer and a co-founding partner of JDC Law LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on managing real estate and corporate/commercial transactions. In particular, Jen enjoys representing clients in real estate leasing matters, including assisting clients with drafting, review, and negotiation.

Jen’s approach to legal services is the utmost commitment to her clients. She is determined to provide a level of service and guidance that would bring value to her clients. Jen is a firm believer of unique solutions and is both creative and proactive. Jen always keep her clients informed and involved in all step of the way.

Prior to JDC Law, Jen completed her articles with a downtown Toronto firm annually ranked as a top 5 commercial real estate boutique law firm in Canada. Jen has also worked at one of the busiest Toronto residential real estate law firm. Over the years, she provided excellent services to clients in both corporate/commercial real estate and residential real estate practice areas.

Interesting Facts: Jen was born as a member of an ethnic minority group in China (the “Bai” people). Jen is an animal lover and a proud amateur chef. Jen’s meaningful quote to share: “Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself in your way of thinking.”
